Now that the deadline has come and gone, a total of 10 Tuesday trades went down (you can see our grades for those here). Among them: Former No. 8 overall pick TJ Hockenson was sent from the Lions to the Vikings, the Dolphins went all-in to get Broncos Pro-Bowl pass rusher Bradley Chubb and the Steelers dealt wide receiver Chase Claypool to the Bears while adding secondary assistance with William Jackson. Even a player suspended for the rest of the season — Calvin Ridley — shared, as he went from the Falcons to the Jaguars. Even before Tuesday’s deadline, we saw huge blockbusters go down around the league, including Christian McCaffrey landing with the San Francisco 49ers. That deal is already starting to pay dividends for the Niners after McCaffrey rushed, caught and passed for a touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Rams. It’s that type of impact that teams hope to give their rosters to give them a boost down the stretch.
