Former President Donald Trump published a 12-page rebuttal on Monday in response to the evidence presented at the Jan. 6 hearing, likening it to a “kangaroo court” to distract the American people before the November midterm elections. “Our nation is SUFFERING. Our economy is in the gutter. Inflation is rampant. Gas prices have reached all-time highs. Ships can not unload cargo. Families can not get the milk they need. “We are a disgrace to the world.” Trump said in the denial, which was made public through the Save America PAC. (Mandel Ngan / Pool via AP) Trump accused Democrats of being preoccupied with the events of January 6, while “they can not offer solutions” to the problems facing the country. “Democrats desperately want to change the narrative of a failed nation without mentioning the catastrophe and death caused by the Radical Left just months earlier,” Trump said. “Make no mistake, they are in control of the government. They own this catastrophe. They hope that these hearings will somehow change their failed prospects.” JAN. 6 HEARING: TESTIMONY FOCUSED ON TRUMP UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS ABOUT WIDE DISCLAIMER Trump used much of the 12-page document to reiterate his baseless allegations that the 2020 presidential election was supposedly “cheated and stolen.” “Politicians from both parties, but especially Democrats, have worked with corporate elites to deprive Americans of our right to elect our own leaders,” Trump said. The Americans are struggling to fill their gas tanks, to feed their babies, to educate their children. “Hire employees, order supplies, protect our borders from invasion and a series of other tragedies caused 100% by Democrats who seized power through rigged elections and the people of our country are both angry and sad.” CLICK HERE TO RECEIVE THE FOX NEWS APPLICATION The denial came on the second day of a House committee investigating the events of January 6, 2021. The nine-member committee is trying to argue that Trump and those allies who helped him were deliberately lying as he fueled election fraud in the weeks leading up to the election. revolt, that the rioters who invaded the Capitol that day and cut off the certification of President Joe Biden’s victory echoed Trump’s lies that he, not Biden, had rightfully won the election.
