Drave Graham’s body was found by an Ontario Provincial Police underwater search and retrieval team on the Scugog River on Monday around 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Deb Hagarty of the Kawartha Lakes Police Department said in a video posted on Twitter. “Everyone involved has a heavy heart right now,” Hagarti said. Police say there is no suspicion of aggressive behavior, but their investigation is ongoing. Drewen was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Rivera Park in Lindsay, Ont. About half an hour earlier, surveillance video captured the boy walking north on Caroline Street. His clothes were found in the same area, according to police. “Drewen is autistic and has limited verbal skills,” police said Monday, urging residents to search their property. “He has a sensory irritation to the touch. He likes to hide and is unlikely to come out if he is called by his name.” Officers from various jurisdictions and volunteer rescue teams searched Sunday and night with the help of police dogs, boats, a drone and a helicopter. Hundreds of community members joined in to help with the research. Many were strangers, said Pamela McLarnon, who rallied in the hope of a happy outcome. “With everything happening in the world, we need happiness,” McLarnon said before Dreven’s body was found. “We just want to bring him home to the family.” Officers from various jurisdictions and volunteer rescue teams searched Sunday and night with the help of police dogs, boats, a drone and a helicopter.
