A video of a dangerous truck crossing has garnered hundreds of comments since it was shared on social media. The video shows a V-based DCT Chambers truck with a B-chip truck spending another half on Highway 97 in Cariboo. The video from the last truck shows the truck with chips chipping next to it in a double solid yellow line, leading to the oncoming lanes. The truck then rounds not one, but two corners before returning to the appropriate lane, forcing the driver of the first truck on his shoulder. The video of the dashboard camera from the first red truck shows it traveling at 91 km / h on June 10, at 7:48 p.m. when you pass it. But the driver of the red truck has none of that – the red truck accelerates to the shoulder and overtakes the truck with chips before the video clip ends. The video, which was shared on Reddit but has since been removed, has received hundreds of comments – most of them criticizing both drivers for their dangerous actions. “I drove a chip truck that looks like the white in the video for a month, part of why I quit, it was just like that, from other chip trucks and special logging trucks. These things weigh over 100,000 pounds loaded, you hit a car. “I’m not going to get away with it. I’ve not helped people in normal cars treat me like I’m another Honda Civic,” wrote Redditor WolfinCorgnito. “I’m a truck driver with a chip locally right now. I’m been doing it for a year this week. And I can doubt that I was literally kicked out of the way by another driver of a chip truck company, since we were both from the same mill and he did it “Let me merge in front of him on the highway ramp. Instead, he insists on pushing me almost completely off the road. I will leave chip trucking soon. “I will definitely not miss this,” wrote Low_Feeling_267. The video was also shared on Facebook via the Skilled Truckers Canada page. The drivers there wrote: “The speed limit there is 100. The red truck just came out of an uphill lane where it made it below the limit. Then at the end of this lane the white truck came out to pass. The white truck was 90% passed the red truck when the red truck increased its speed to 107 on the shoulder and passed the white truck. “Deliberately hold the white truck out there. Not only the red truck endangered anyone coming towards them, but both of them. The law is to keep your speed. The etiquette is to relax when the passing nose trucks come to your door. “If you are the one doing the crossing, as soon as you understand the truck that passed will not let you in, then leave and fall back behind the truck that you tried to pass. Regardless of what happened just before. Professionals do not drive like that. Both of these trucks are wrong. “ Castanet contacted DCT Chambers for comment and a person answering the phone said management was dealing with the situation after the video went viral. The truck company of the other vehicle is not known at this time.
