Shocking footage from social media shows people surfing on a Brooklyn subway train in New York on Monday.
Video taken from multiple angles shows people running in the train carriages as the subway crosses the Williamsburg Bridge, according to witnesses.
“Yo WTF !;” wrote a Twitter user. “These people just crossed the Williamsburg Bridge at the top of the train.”
“Another point of view!” another user responded by adding further footage from the incident.

The incident comes months after a man in New York was killed while trying to board the same train in October 2021.
The man, who police did not identify, fell from the subway roof as he crossed the Williamsburg Bridge. He fell on the rails and fell down, according to witnesses.

The New York Police Department has not issued a statement regarding the subway surfers this weekend.
