See the full presentation, hosted by Bethesda Todd Howard below: . Starfield’s incredibly impressive presentation begins with a spaceship landing on a barren planet before the main character emerges in what appears to be the most impressive and detailed world Bethesda Softworks has created to date. The perspective changes from first to third person as insect-like enemies are removed and we learn the game’s mining and combat mechanics. Gunplay seems to have seen a major upgrade from a game like Fallout 4, which looks a lot more fluid and looks like a shooter. Bullets fly and indoor environments explode. There is no VATS-like targeting system here either. While the battle definitely leans more towards that of a first person shooter, there is no doubt that it is a Bethesda RPG. Exploring and collecting robberies seems to be just as essential at Starfield. And there is plenty of Starfield to explore. Once you create your character, create their appearance and choose their features, players will be ready to board their boat (also incredibly customizable) and embark on one of the 1,000 unique planets – some of which are colonized by huge cities with every inch of the planet can be explored. My writing here is not unfair, you must see this presentation. Undoubtedly the most remarkable look of the entire Xbox & Bethesda showcase, there is a reason it was saved until the last minute. Starfield will be released on Xbox and PC in 2023. The game will be available on the Xbox Game Pass upon release. .
