Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:27 p.m. at 3300 block on East 14th Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said, adding that two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Police received a call at 12:29 p.m. by someone who reported that a friend had been shot at the site, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Department said. “We do not have many attendees at the site,” police said. “It seems to have been a kind of party or event that was happening.” Arriving police located three victims and later a quarter at the scene, police said, later confirming that three people were dead. Three of the victims were taken to hospital, according to investigators. The LAPD has no suspicious information at this point, according to Officer Tony Im.
