Jakub Szymanski died after being stabbed in a house on Thursday (June 9th). His mother was also stabbed and injured. Wider Manchester police have confirmed that Suleiman Altaf, without a firm address, has been charged with Jacob’s death. The 44-year-old has been charged with murder, attempted murder and an article in a public place. He will appear today (Monday) in the Magistrates’ Court of Manchester and Salford. In a statement issued through the GMP, Jakub’s family said they described him as a “funny, cheeky boy”. They said: “Jakub was affectionately known as Kuba to his family and Jakub to his friends. He was always a popular kid who made friends wherever he went because of his friendly and talkative nature. “He always said his opinion, he was naughty, funny and cheeky. He loved the Xbox and his football, supporting Manchester City.
