In a tribute, Jakub’s family said: “Jakub was affectionately known as Kuba to his family and Jakub to his friends. He was always a popular kid, making friends wherever he went because of his friendly and talkative nature. “He always said his opinion, he was a naughty, funny and cheeky boy. He loved the Xbox and its football, supporting Manchester City. “He was like any other teenage boy and he was useful to so many people, even those he just met. For our family, he is our hero.” Altaf was arrested in Kent on Friday. Police were called to report a home incident at a Miles Platting home at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday when Jakub was found with stab wounds. He received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he died just an hour later. Ms Bastek was also treated by the emergency services for serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
