The Iranian Armed Forces have announced the deaths of two aerospace officials, the latest in a series of mysterious deaths in recent weeks that have raised red flags over the country’s internal affairs. On Sunday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the death of Ali Kamani, a member of the Air Force working in Markazi province, Iran International reported.

According to the IRGC, Kamani died in a “car accident” during a mission in the western city of Khomeini, about 200 miles southwest of the Tehran capital. Possible murder
The deaths come less than a week after the mysterious death of Iranian aerospace scientist Ayoob Entezari, who was either killed or died of a foodborne illness. Entezari held a Ph.D. in engineering and aerospace engineering and his death was described by the office of the governor-general of Yazd as a “martyrdom”, Iran International reported. Judicial authorities in Yazd Province later issued a statement contradicting the bill and downgrading Entezari’s work on the Air Force, according to the report.
