And on Sunday, the Bronx Bombers destroyed the Camps with 18 runs – including four dingers. In response, the Yankees’s Twitter account responded to applause in the Cubs’s previous tweet – the one that came out very early. The Bronx Bombers won 11 home games in all three games together, 10 of which took place between Saturday and Sunday. “Maybe everything is a home run?” teased the Yankees’s Twitter on Sunday, accompanied by a GIF of a bucket-hat wearing Nestor Cortes swirling his finger. The Cubs’ final response on Sunday was a tweet saying “Final: Yankees 18, Cubs 4”.
