Oscar-winning former Broadway student Ariana DeBose hosted the three-hour Tony Awards broadcast on CBS, which was preceded by a one-hour segment with presenters Darren Criss and Julianne Hough on Paramount +. “A Strange Loop” won Best Musical, and “The Lehman Trilogy” won Best Picture in a glamorous Broadway comeback ceremony. Miles Frost won his first Tony Best Supporting Actor in a MJ musical, his Broadway debut (and professional acting).
