Police have now arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder. The man’s condition has changed from “critical” to “serious but stable”. DI Platt, based at the Banbury Police Station, renewed the appeal, adding: “We are continuing a full and thorough investigation into this incident and we have now made an arrest. “I urge anyone who has any information or witness to the incident to contact the Thames Valley Police at 101, citing reference number 43220255119. “I would like to once again express my gratitude to the members of the public who came for immediate help to the victim, applying the emergency first aid until the medical professionals arrive at the scene. “Their actions undoubtedly gave the victim the best possible chance of surviving his injuries and I congratulate them on their prompt response.” –
