At 15:25 on Sunday, armed officers were deployed to Elmet Way, Swarcliffe, following reports of gunfire. Police confirmed that damage had been done to a window of the property that was in line with the firing of a shotgun. No one was injured. There is a scene to undergo a forensic examination and special investigations and investigations are underway into the incident, led by the West Yorkshire Police Homicide and the Major Examination Team.
