The video begins with a moving moment shared by the late Sidhu and his mother. It offers a timeline of his childhood days through several rare images. While one photo captures Sidhu and his parents during a birthday party, another shows him in a school uniform posing in front of a house. Reacting to Sidhu’s memories, fans show love for him and his family in the comments section. One user wrote: “Happy birthday legend”. “Legends never die,” added another user. “Support his family for justice,” said another. Earlier in the day, singer Gippy Garewal shared retrospective photos with Sidhu. He urged artists to visit Sidhu’s parents and said: “Sidhu dreamed that Punjabi industry should be at No. 1. He said that our competition is not between us but with international artists. “But now everyone in the Punjab industry is blaming each other.” He added that everyone should stay together and appreciate each other instead of finding fault with each other while mourning the loss of the singer. Sidhu was shot by unknown assailants in the Mansa area of Punjab on May 29. Sidhu’s body had 19 bullet wounds and died within 15 minutes of the shooting, according to the autopsy report. The cause of death was reportedly “bleeding shock” due to pre-mortem gunshot wounds. The incident came a day after the Punjab government lifted the security cover of 424 people, including Sidhu Moose Wala. He was cremated in his home village of Mansa, in the presence of his family members and admirers. His family held an Antim Ardas ceremony (the last prayer) for the late singer on May 8.
