Starfield takes place in 2330, highlighting our little wizard as an explorer searching the galaxy for mysterious artifacts. Once again, we will explore great worlds, we will make missions, we will go up and unlock privileges, we will coexist with factions, we will gather resources, we will build outposts, we will build and shoot people, but this time we are not limited to one world . Game director Todd Howard said that Starfield has over 100 systems and over 1000 planets and yes, we will be able to fly to them with our own spaceship, along with space battle. I hope most of these planets and moons look more interesting than the video suggests. It kills me that after years of waiting, the great Starfield revelation is open to the gloomiest and most boring planet and then goes straight into fundraising. But I’m probably not the person to look for excitement about Bethesda ‘s modern RPGs. They build huge worlds full of neat decoration and NPCs that live on simulated schedules but almost nothing interesting to do. That might be okay if Bethesda bent over it — I love walking simulators — but no, they’re full of repetitive quests, bad battles, and soft writing. Nothing would often be better than nothing, and this frequent frustration leaves me frustrated and bored. Please, tell me to be silent and explain why you are excited to explore space. Put me in the funfair dunk tank and throw your views at the target. I’m glad that their games are so exciting to so many! I’m glad that people enjoy them! Maybe I’m going to dive into my bathtub, soak myself in repentance for my tired and cynical views. Starfield is set to release in 2023, having recently been delayed by Skyrim’s anniversary. It will be on Steam as well as in Game Pass and yes, of course I will give it to Game Pass. I want to go to this green planet with the giant armored space cow.
