Police said the family of the missing Richard Mockford had been informed. Investigations are underway since the 60-year-old disappeared from the Penzance area on Friday, June 10. The investigation was expanded and more photos of Richard and a car were released yesterday, as concerns about his well-being increased. Now Devon and Cornwall police have confirmed that a body was found after they were called to Pendeen, near the lighthouse, around 2 p.m. A spokesman said: “Police were called shortly before 2pm today, Sunday 12 June, with reports of a vehicle being found at the bottom of the Pendeen cliff in the Pendeen Lighthouse area.
