Three classic Atlus games, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, are finally coming to the Xbox. The news was announced earlier today during the big Xbox and Bethesda show of Microsoft. All three games will be available on Game Pass and are also available for PC. First, Persona 5 will be released on October 21 for Xbox. The other two games will come later, but these release dates were not announced during today’s event. Persona games are incredibly popular and favorite JRPGs focused on teens in Japan who have to balance everyday things like school, relationships and work with fighting demons and exploring twisted, supernatural worlds and dungeons. You know, the usual thing we all did as teenagers. Persona 3 has not been released on newer, modern consoles, with its latest port being on the PSP. So coming to Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC sometime in the future is a big deal for fans who want an easier and better way to play the classic JRPG first released in 2006. According to a press release from Atlus, Persona 3 will also feature “enhanced graphics” and Persona 3 and 4 will be available for playback with French, Italian, German and Spanish text, a first time for these specific long-term entries. JRPG franchise, says Atlus. Prior to the show, rumors were circulating about a Game Pass collection aimed at Game Pass and the Xbox. And it turns out that these rumors were true. Persona 5 Royal, which brings together all the DLC in one package, is the only game with a confirmed release date for Xbox on October 21, 2022.
