Police and paramedics were called to Brook Hey Drive in Northwood, Kirkby, on Saturday to report that a 38-year-old woman had died.  Detectives remained on the scene Sunday as they worked to determine what happened and how he died. 

The investigation is said to be at an early stage and the police are asking anyone with information to contact them. Bouquets of flowers and handwritten messages were placed today on the doorstep of a house as a tribute to the woman who was flooded by ECHO readers on social media.
