Around 6.40 p.m.  Yesterday (June 11), police were called to report sexual assault on a forest trail between Brood Road and Mill Lane in Cheadle. 

Their investigation revealed that a woman was walking on the path – to the back of Alexandra Hospital – when she noticed a man walking behind her. A few minutes later, the man ran past her in the direction of the Cheadle Mill. After a series of search lines, officers are now calling on anyone who can identify the man in the image to appear. Police continue to support the victim.
