Over the weekend rangers at the Nevis Range, host of the DH World Cups and next year’s World Championship in Fort William, had a bike stolen while dealing with a potentially serious injury. After attending to the injured rider it became clear due to the injury and high winds a vehicle would need to be used for extrication. One of the patrol officers had to leave his bike at the scene to watch the rider while in the vehicle, on the way back to where the bike was missing....
