A major overnight search operation was launched in Belfast Lough on Saturday and continued into Sunday night following reports that a Stena Superfast 8 passenger had gone into the water. Emergency crews including the Coastguard, RNLI and Lagan Search and Rescue responded to a Mayday call at around 9.30pm when the Stena Line ferry’s fast response vessel was launched. A Rescue 199 helicopter was dispatched from Scotland within hours and a rescue plane joined the search effort on Sunday....

Futures for the S&P 500 fell 2.2% on Monday. A drop of more than 1.3% at the close of trading on Monday will push the index into bear market territory, defined as a 20% loss from a recent high. Contracts for the tech Nasdaq-100, which entered the bear market in March, fell 2.8%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 2%. Markets have been volatile this year as investors assessed the risks of rising inflation and central bank plans for easing stimulus policies that kept economies – and markets – alive throughout the pandemic....

He shows Henry Zahn struggling to walk while tied to his bed with a catheter in February 2021 – a month before he died – while the caregiver was lying in a reclining chair watching TV. Henry died in March 2021 after six months in the care of assistants at the home of his son Thomas in Holmes, New York....
